Because of the Bicentennial Independence Commemoration of the Latin-American Republics, Art Madrid organizes the exhibition "Residentes. Artistas Latinoamericanos en España" located in the stand B8 of the Pabellón de Cristal, with native artists from Argentina, Chile, Colombia and Mexico, who live and work in Spain.

It has been organized together with the Secretariat of State for Latin America, and with the support of the Embassies and the Cultural Sections of those respective institutions.

As part of the commemorative actions, Art Madrid will dedicate a specific space for the celebration of the Bicentenaries. An exhibition by 11 Latin-American artists with residence in Spain whose nationalities are from four of the countries which celebrate their 200 year Independence Anniversary during 2010: Argentina, Chile, Colombia and Mexico.

The exhibition comes up under the title “Residentes. Artistas Latinoamericanos en España” and it is produced together by Art Madrid and the Secretariat of State for Latin America, with the collaboration of the Embassies and Cultural Sections of their respective Consulates.
