Adrián Socorro

Matanzas, (Cuba), 1979

He is a graduate of the University of Matanzas with a degree in Socio-Cultural Studies. He is a self-taught artist. He won the first edition of PRISMA, event of ARTEMORFOSIS contemporary Cuban art platform, with which he cooperates since 2019, he was a member of the AHS (Hermanos Saíz Association). He has held several personal exhibitions among which SERUNOMISMO (Provincial Center of Plastic Arts, Pedro Esquerré Gallery, Matanzas) and MISERUNOMISMO, Center for the Development of Visual Arts, Havana) in addition he is founder of the biennial project INTERMITTENT RIVERS, of the artist Maria Magdalena Campos Pons. He has participated in more than 20 group exhibitions inside and outside Cuba, in countries such as Spain, USA and Switzerland. Works of his authorship are part of government and private collections.
