Art Madrid'26
21st CONTEMPORARY ART FAIR

From March 4 to 8, Art Madrid returns to the Galería de Cristal of the Palacio de Cibeles. This year is the 21st edition, which consolidates its position as a benchmark in the national and international art scene. Over more than two decades, it has stood out for its commitment to diversity and the quality of its offerings, attracting more than 150,000 visitors in its last five editions.

During Madrid Art Week, the fair brings together thirty-five national and international galleries. This reinforces the commitment of the fair to making emerging and established galleries more visible and to bringing contemporary art to diverse audiences. With a pluralistic approach, it avoids subscribing to a single curatorial line and instead promotes the diversity of its offerings, respecting the identity of each exhibitor. Art Madrid thus promotes a dynamic creative ecosystem that reflects the richness and multiple perspectives of the current art scene, generating an open and enriching dialogue between diverse contemporary languages.

The Gallery Program is the most important part of Art Madrid'26. Thirty-five galleries will present proposals that celebrate experimentation, hybrid languages and the latest artistic production. The selection forms a representative map of the aesthetics, discourses and practices that are shaping the present of art in Europe, offering a comprehensive overview of the current state of art in the region. Emerging and established artists, both national and international, will come together at one of the must-see events of the upcoming Madrid Art Week.

The Galería de Cristal of the Palacio de Cibeles will once again be transformed into a dynamic space where proposals interact with each other, inviting visitors to explore visual narratives that demonstrate the evolution of contemporary languages. From works that explore new media or reformulate traditional techniques to pieces that reflect on technology, identity, memory, or territory, the tour offers a pluralistic experience open to multiple interpretations.

In this 21st edition, Art Madrid reinforces its mission to promote the art market and collecting nationally and internationally, while fostering cultural dialogue and accessibility. The fair maintains its welcoming spirit and commitment to culture, presenting itself as an inclusive platform for all audiences to explore the latest trends in contemporary art.
