Ana Michaelis was born in Rio de Janeiro, living and working in São Paulo. She has worked asa professional artist since I graduated from the School of Fine Arts in São Paulo. Participated in group and solo exhibitions in Brazil, Portugal e United States. She has participated in International Trade Contemporary Fairs as Lisbon, Madrid, Dubai and Monaco.

The landscape painting became her main interest in recent years. Ana constructs imaginary landscapes, uninhabited and misty, landscapes that keep a mystery behind the layers of white paint that she uses to delete the record. Ana’s intentions is to evoke a conversation between memories, those that we bring us and those that our eyes show us.
