Self-taught visual artist. He began his career with the practice of drawing and watercolour. Fully dedicated to the activity since 1986, he has in his career some national awards, collective participations and more than 50 solo exhibitions in Portugal and abroad. Throughout these 30 years, his practice has been based on the constant renewal of supports, materials and techniques, and the plasticity of his work has evolved towards a more and more reflexive and contemporary approach.
