Art Madrid'26 – Fuensanta Sobejano

Fuensanta Sobejano

Madrid, 1991

Digital artist who explores human perception and beauty through interactive artworks. As the Madrid-based artist explains: “My work focuses on the interaction between the viewer, the piece, and the space. By alternating digital media and physical materials, I explore the ever-changing sensory experience of reality. The work is based on multiple combinations of primary colors and their chromatic variations, conceived as the result of a combinatory game generated by structures of repetition. Starting from a limited number of elements, geometric laws are established that relate them to one another, which are often altered by unexpected, random associations that break the initial rule. The same happens with the viewer’s unpredictable movement, which produces the illusion of colors that are not static but dynamic.”

Art as a participatory experience at the service of society, and light as an essential element capable of transforming the way an artwork is perceived.
