Gonçalo Mabunda is an artist and anti-war activist. Mabunda has exhibited in important museums such as the Pompidou Center in Paris, the Venice Biennale, the Museum of Art and Design in New York, the Gangwon International Biennial, South Korea, the Kunst Palast Museum in Düsseldorf, the Hayward Gallery in London, the Mori Museum in Tokyo, Johannesburg Art Gallery, Tropen Museum, Amsterdam, Norwegian Army Museum, The Netherlands Army Museum, the Swedish Army Museum, works with recycled war material creating different cutting series figurative, where the thrones and masks that approach the world of Braque and Picasso stand out in their compositions.
