He is a Senior Lecturer and Professor of Drawing in the School of Visual Arts at the State University of New York, Oswego campus. He has received numerous grants, awards and artist residencies including SUNY Presidential Award, Fulbright Commission, SCAC Grant, Atworks, National Residency CEPA Gallery, The Art Matters Inc, Hangar Barcelona, Can Serrat, the Bruch, Three Walls Chicago, Kaus Australis, Rotterdam. Valparaiso Foundation, Mojacar, Kanaal 10, Amsterdam etc. He has exhibited his creative work in numerous national and international galleries and has participated in international art fairs in Berlin, Cologne, Chicago, Miami, New York, Barcelona, Madrid, etc. He has also lectured nationally and internationally on the creative processes of his artistic work, and his work is in numerous private and public collections including The Castellani Art Museum, The Burchfield-Penney Art Center, MEAM and The David Bowie Collection.
