Art Madrid'24 – Lucía Gorostegui

Lucía Gorostegui

Madrid, 1986

After graduating in Physics and working in the world of engineering, he decides to devote himself to his true vocation: photography allows him to combine his technical depth and his artistic dimension. He turns his passion into a means of expression and a way of life. His work is a research on photography as an object and as a language. The plasticity, the pictorial, the staged against the recorded, the attentional excursion that the creative process involves, are the concepts that convey his work. He has participated in numerous group and solo exhibitions in Spain and Switzerland, and combines this activity with commissions for architectural studios and teaching at the EFTI school. His work combines the attention to minimalist composition with a marked predilection for process, which reveals an investigation of photography as a language and as an object.
