The photographer Miguel Vallinas dedicates a large part of his time to the study of the landscape, understanding nature as the pure state, the urban panorama, contemporary architecture, portrait, etc. In his photographs he tries not to leave space for the improvisation, making a previous study of the place, the light and all those determining factors.
The technique and execution are essential in his work at the time of making the photographs and in the post-production work. He resorts to subjects that awaken a personal interest beyond mere contemplation and seeks the reflection in the other. We could say that his work consists of a search for beauty understood through his gaze. His work has been seen in New York, Hong Kong, Miami, Paris or San Sebastian. His last artworks, more surreal, he resorts to photomontage studying man tackle him from his identity. What man wants to be, what he thinks he is, what others believe about him and what we really are.
