Merging technology and fine art, the pieces are digitally designed from 2-D compositions based on geometry and balance, and put them together in a solid support combining different layers to express movement and depth. These layers are then fixed to a rigid canvas, that once framed, make the artpiece whole. Most of my work is done using optical lenses with different levels of translucency in a range of colors, graphic patterns, textures and photographic images. The artworks gravitate upon ideas of geometry, form and shadows evolving throughout the observer's position and perception. The bright and fully saturated color palettes to which I instinctively gravitate to, is heavily influenced by the contrast between the city and the desert. Each and every artwork is limited in time or quantity. I am really focused on making each artwork special and collaborating with local craftsman and suppliers to support local business.
