She graduated from the Folkwang University of the Arts in Germany with a Bachelor of Arts, specifically in photography. He then did his master's studies in photography and practice at the same university in 2017, graduating with a master of arts. She has been awarded the 13th Arte Laguna International Prize 2019, Special Prize Winner, "Photolux Festival" in Venice, Italy, and the 2019 Excellence Award, International Artist Award at Art Next Expo in Hong Kong. He has had countless exhibitions in Europe, and also some in Asia, Canada and the United States. Pia Kintrup's research investigates new media and materials, ranging from photography to sculpture.
