The artist, graduated in Fine Arts in 2013 from the Complutense University of Madrid in the specialty of Sculpture, and Industrial Technical Engineer since 2003 from the Polytechnic University of Madrid in the specialty of Mechanics in Machinery Construction. Rodrigo Romero Pérez is an artist who, through figurative language, reflects on issues such as the environment, our decision making, the societies we create and human nature itself. He is also interested in the processes and structures in formation, has made numerous artistic interventions in public spaces within the field of urban art, in these interventions, he explores the concept of the work of art as something unfinished, changing and sometimes ephemeral. He has been Associate Professor of the Department of Sculpture of the Faculty of Fine Arts of Madrid of the U.C.M., Honorary Collaborator of the Department of Sculpture of the Faculty of Fine Arts of the U.C.M. and Secondary School Teacher. In May 2016 he made the bronze monument "Reconstruction" tribute to women for the Park of Memory of Sartaguda, Navarra and that same year he made the bronze monument "Ariadna" a tribute to the Guadalajara Story Marathon, which is located in the Plaza de Dávalos in Guadalajara. He has participated in numerous competitions and exhibitions both inside and outside Spain and his works can be seen in public and private collections.
