The photographer and poet, Rui Dias Monteiro, lives and works in Lisbon. He studied photography and has participated in several solo and group exhibitions in Portugal. He has intervened in various performances and reading poems such as Sob each erva of the Zum Festival; Conversa CXLVIII, Arquivo 237; Or what is it or archival? Calouste Gulbenkian Museum, among others. Dias Monteiro obtained the artistic residency at the Armando Alvares Penteado Foundation in São Paulo in 2017, in addition to winning the BF16 Prize at Vila Franca de Xira.
