Sandra de Jaume lets herself go by instinct, thoughtless action and one's own creative energy, to conceive spaces and atmospheres complex, “metareal” appearing worlds. On these backgrounds, the artist devises scenes, theatrical performances, sometimes even surreal, in which people close to her life and herself act, with a precision in their representation that is even close to portraiture. These careful and suggestive images allow the viewer to disconnect from the reality and immerse yourself in an atypical world, sometimes even with an echo of distant times and places, and many times dreamlike, deep and surreal.
