Vinita Dasgupta received a Master's Degree in Fine Arts from the University of New Delhi. She has participated in many group exhibitions, her artwork has been shown at the Art Fair India, Art Fair Dubai, Bangladesh Biennale, among others. On the other hand, she has realised solo shows, “Storyteller: stories told & retold V” in New York and Lisbon.

The goal of Dasgupta's work is to get the viewer feel and participate in her images, her work is about the discovery process, the synthesis of personal feelings, the colour that inspires her and the technique used. Dasgupta has been awarded the "Art for social change award" of the United Nations, India and the National Scholarship in Painting by the Ministry of Culture of New Delhi.
