Cornión Gallery founded in 1981 since then it has focused its attention on national contemporary art, paying special attention to Asturian artists, with sponsorships as solid as that of Rubio Camín or Pelayo Ortega. The commitment to the artists he represents and the quality of the exhibitions and cultural activities carried out in its space are the hallmarks of a gallery in which the samples of consecrated artists alternate, enjoying an important recognition and national and international prestige, with other younger artists who are still at the beginning of their careers. It is a gallery that has been present for many years in national and international art fairs, in 1986 Cornión attended ARCO for the first time, a fair in which it would continue participating until the year 2000.
