The Jorge Alcolea Gallery was founded in 1989 in Madrid when its director, Jorge Alcolea, decided to transfer to this city the artistic projects he was developing in Barcelona. Initially, it specialized in the discovery and support of young artists, many of whom today have consolidated careers and are at the center of the gallery's exhibition program.

Today, the gallery combines the care and dissemination of its proposals with a faithful commitment to emerging art.
