Jorge Alcolea gallery was founded in 1989 in Madrid when its director, Jorge Alcolea, decided to move to this city the artistic projects he was developing in Barcelona. Initially, he specialised in the discovery and support of young artists, many of whom now have a consolidated career and are the centre of the exhibition program of the gallery.

Currently, the gallery combines the care and dissemination of its proposals with a faithful commitment to emerging art.
