Art Madrid'26 – Choreographic Proposal from Azahara Ubera

The choreographer and multidisciplinary artist Azahara Ubera has a degree in Contemporary Dance from the Real Conservatorio of Madrid and in Fine Arts from the Goldsmith University of London. Also is master in Contemporary Dance from The Place, London. In the beginning of 2006 began to show her projects in different spaces of art from Madrid, London, San Francisco and New York.

"LA PIEL ES UN METAL INESTABLE" ("The skin is an unstable metal") is a project born from the need to explore the physical sensation of "surrender", from the intersection of several disciplines such as contemporary dance, performance, installation and group choreography. This "surrender" has to do with the present time that we live where certain power structures are unsustainable.

Performed thanks to support from Espacio en Blanco, Madrid, under the artistic direction of Azahara Ubera Biedma and performed by Miguel Llanos, Darla MacDonald, Laura Enguindanos, Begoña Moreno-Luque, Coke Viaga and Natalia Plascencia.

Representations in Art Madrid Thursday 14 at 19.15 and Friday 15th at 18pm.
