about Edin Mustafic

Salzburg (Austria), 1975

Edin Mustafic's works are in general (auto) reflexive. He is interested in the common ground of our world. Opinions, situations, ideas and things, which we are all connected and familiar to. He is preferably working in his photography studio where he can extract his motifs from their social and cultural context. This allows him a more detailed view without any social (cultural) context.

In the last two years, he has started working in different artistic genres as well. Primary in Mixed-Media and Installation. As he can‘t explain everything in a photographic way he is experimenting with these artistic techniques.
