During the last thirty years, Eduardo Vega Seoane has been developing his language from a very baroque period to a more refined and synthetic painting. In his career, he has gone through different phases although his way of painting has always been quite recognizable. This artist of Abstract Expressionism has achieved a deserved recognition since in the decade of the 1970s he discovers his true artistic vocation during a stay in Sweden, Denmark and Holland, after having experimented in various fields such as Cinematography, Photography or Theater.
Back in Madrid, in 1977, he decided to start studies of Fine Arts at the Arjona Academy, studies that will continue under the guidance of María Luisa Esteban until 1982, receiving a scholarship for two years, and then continue his solo career, participating in numerous competitions and exhibitions. He has made more than 30 individual exhibitions, having developed a very personal style characterized by colour and expressive freedom. He has participated in prestigious international fairs, in Zurich, Chicago, Washington D.C., Cologne, Ghent and Rotterdam.
