about Ernesto Rancaño

The painter Ernesto Rancaño studied at the National School of Plastic Arts where he graduated in the speciality of Painting and Drawing. He won the First Prize in the Poster Contest sponsored and convened by the CETSS, Havana, Cuba.
His works are in permanent collections in Panama, Mexico, Jamaica and Spain. Also, he has participated in numerous group exhibitions and has made settings. Since 1995 he is a member of the National Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba (UNEAC). Some of his individual exhibitions are ""Criterio propio"", ""Sombras del ayer"" or ""La lluvia de tu ventana"".
