about the artist's works
Vallejo develops since 2007 the project "My favourite toy", a project of indeterminate duration that progresses in unison with the vital experience of the artist, being reflected in the evolution of his work. In his drawings and illustrations, you can perceive the growth in each of his characters: bears, ghosts, boys who play, stuffed animals. All this forms a playful universe where colour, transparency, play and fun, prevail by above the politically correct. His work aims to connect every day with the transcendent, thus creating a process that goes from the personal to the universal.
