Art Madrid'26 – Ángel Celada

Ángel Celada

Valencia, 1972

Ángel Celada (Valencia, 1972) is an artist whose artwork lies at the intersection of memory, trauma, and personal transformation. His artistic practice emerges with visceral force, free from prior planning and driven by a vital need to create.

Through abstract compositions rich in layered paint, gestures, marks, and collage, Celada develops a deeply personal visual language that moves between informalism and lyrical constructivism, with influences from pop art, expressionism, art brut, and conceptual art.

His artworks are part of private collections in Spain, the United States, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium, Italy, the United Arab Emirates, and Japan. They have been featured in numerous solo and group exhibitions across Spain. Celada has received several awards and honorable mentions and has been a finalist in many contemporary art competitions.
