Art Madrid'26 – Vanitira (Joan García)

Vanitira (Joan García)

Jaén, 1969

Vanitira has built her own artistic language through experimentation with multiple techniques and disciplines: from drawing and intervened photography to acrylic painting, ultimately integrating digital art as her main and distinctive tool. Each technique has contributed insights that have expanded her way of seeing, feeling, and expressing, consolidating a creative process that balances intuition and experimentation, beauty and the soul of the work. Her practice seeks to generate experiences that transcend the visual, where the earthly intertwines with the symbolic, proposing an intimate and unique encounter with each viewer. Vanitira’s works are conceived as spaces of reflection and sensitivity, where emotions, doubts, and experiences are transformed into images that move and accompany the viewer.

Throughout her career, Vanitira has maintained coherence in her artistic evolution: reinventing herself without abandoning her essence, building a recognizable yet constantly evolving language, and preserving the ability to evoke deep sensations and new perspectives. Her purpose is to open paths for personal interpretation, inviting the audience to connect with the intimate and symbolic dimensions of each work.
