The Nuno Sacramento Gallery, has been developing its activity since 2003. It opened its first gallery in Aveiro, Portugal , a city specially designed for a contemporary art gallery. It develops about six solo exhibitions and three group exhibitions annually, in the fields of painting, sculpture, photography, installation and video. The gallery dynamizes its cultural action, not only through these exhibitions but also by editing artists’ catalogs and their exhibited works, with words of accredited critics in the art world. It also holds exhibitions in museums and cultural centers in several Portuguese cities and abroad including Luanda, Angola, at the Cultural Center "Camões", in Havana, Cuba, at the Museum of Decorative Arts of Havana, and in Madrid, Spain, at the CEART Museum. The gallery has participated in several art fairs in Portugal and abroad, and maintains a regular program of art exhibitions throughout the year.
