Alicante, 1980

Alejandro Pastor, also known as Alexander Grahovsky, is a Spanish figurative and surrealist painter who explores the boundary between reality and fantasy. His artwork combines naive strokes with meticulous details to create poetic and playful landscapes and narratives where the unconscious and imagination play a central role.

Since his first exhibition in 2012, his artwork has been shown in Madrid, Alicante, Barcelona, and Melbourne, as well as at international art fairs such as VOLTA Basel (Switzerland), Hamptons Fine Art Fair (New York), and ArtMadrid. He has participated in solo exhibitions, group shows, and international projects.

Pastor has received awards including the 1st Prize XXVI PiNTCA (Antequera, 2023) and the 1st Prize XXXIII López-Villaseñor (Ciudad Real, 2024), and has been a finalist in several editions of the Caja Rural Jaén Fine Arts Prize. His artwork is part of institutional and private collections, including the Museo López-Villaseñor, the Rucandio Collection, the TMF Collection, and the Pintca Collection.
