Art Madrid'26 – Palito Dominguín

Palito Dominguín
Badajoz, 1996
Since childhood, Palito Dominguín has been surrounded by art and creativity. She grew up in an environment where imagining, playing, and creating were part of daily life, and that influence led her to develop her own artistic language. At the age of 15, she moved to England to study art and photography, training at the prestigious Arts University Bournemouth (AUB). She has exhibited her work in both England and Spain, but her goal is to continue exploring new territories—both physical and creative.
Palito is a creator of worlds. Through a free exploration of materials and techniques, she brings to life characters, objects, and settings that reflect the boundless imagination of childhood. Although her work is not limited to using recycled materials, sustainability plays a key role in her artistic practice. She is interested in rescuing and transforming forgotten materials, giving them new narratives, while also experimenting with a wide range of mediums to shape her ideas. More than creating individual pieces, Palito builds universes that challenge perception and remind us of the importance of playing, exploring, and reinventing the world around us.
