The work of Pilar Pequeño is like a close conversation with nature which opens the door to a game of lights and volumes. In this work, intimate and personal, she manages to highlight the serene beauty of the flowers, spaces and vegetal elements that she takes as main motives for her photographs.
The presence of light becomes an essential part of her pieces. As a warm mantle that surrounds the objects, the contours are drawn with soft and faint contrasts to give rise to a smooth transition. Her creation drinks from a pure naturalism, undoubtedly present in all her production, and from a photographic pictorialism that finds its way in all her compositions, always calm and tranquil. However, in this balance, there is room for reflection, for the search of random beauty, in which the intervention of man is not present and the force of nature rebels dominant and master, owner of an infinite universe where everything fits.
