Art Madrid'26 – Diego Vallejo García

Diego Vallejo García

Ávila, 1991

Diego Vallejo, with a degree in Art History from the University of Salamanca and subsequent studies in Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage in Barcelona, depicts the human figure in various social situations, intentionally blurring facial features. By doing so, he removes individual identity markers, making way for collective identity. This approach creates an open and more personal dialogue with the viewer, allowing them to connect with the artwork through their own experiences.

Despite his young age, Vallejo boasts an impressive trajectory across the national art scene, along with numerous awards, including the prestigious Certamen Ciudad de Algemesí Prize, among many others.
