Managers: Sara Joudi
Shiras Gallery, under the artistic direction of Sara Joudi, is located in the historic centre of the city of Valencia. The gallery is part of the Consortium of Contemporary Art galleries, LaVAC (Associació de Galeries d'Art Contemporani de la Comunitat Valenciana) and Valencia Excellence. Shiras Gallery was born with the aim of offering an intergenerational proposal of national art of great calibre, whose discourse is complemented by the voice of emerging avant-garde artists.
The gallery has two spaces: The Main Hall, which is committed to a repertoire of established artists such as Miquel Navarro or Rosa Torres, and El Espai Refugi, dedicated to exhibitions of emerging artists of exceptional projection. The line of the gallery, along with the programming of both rooms, is based on creating an enriching and intergenerational bonds, always taking into account both the artistic quality of the projects and their plastic languages.
The fundamental pillar of its programming is betting on projects of painting, sculpture, drawing and installation. It is a current window towards the most avant-garde contemporary trends. To date, the gallery has participated in national fairs such as Estampa 2016 and 2017, Art Marbella 2017, Santander Art 2017, Art Madrid 2018 and Drawing Room 2018.
