about Rob van Hoek

Países Bajos, 1957

Rob van Hoek is a painter specializing in atmospheric landscapes. A self-taught artist, he has exhibited across Europe and at international art fairs. Inspired by the countryside’s patterns and rhythms, he blends bird’s-eye views and abstracted perspectives, layering oil paint with Liquid and Cold Wax Medium for rich texture. His works are uniquely titled after song lyrics, adding a poetic dimension.
