about Manuel Martí Moreno

Valencia, 1979

Educated in Fine Arts in Valencia, Seville, and Madrid, Martí Moreno focuses his artwork on philosophical and emotional questions about human existence.

Since the 2000s, Martí Moreno has exhibited his sculptures in galleries and museums across Spain and internationally, including Munich, Chicago, Miami, Venice, Barcelona, and Saint-Tropez. Notable exhibitions include the Ciutat Vella Oberta Biennial, Casa de Velázquez in Madrid, and the Bancaja Foundation in Valencia.

Martí Moreno utilizes a wide range of materials, such as corrugated rods, wire mesh, terracotta, fiberglass, and repurposed objects, though nuts are his hallmark.
His sculptures raise questions about reality, identity, fragility, and the meaning of existence.
Furthermore, they delve into profound human drives, like Eros and Thanatos, through constantly evolving plastic forms.
