about Yasiel Elizagaray
Cárdena, (Cuba), 1987
Graduated from Vladislav Volkov Pedagogical Institute, Bachelor of Arts and Humanities, Art Instructor in the speciality of Plastic Arts in 2005. He was deserving of the prize of excellence awarded by the CFA Artist of the Year Award in 2019. He has been a professor of painting in different art centres until 2008. He currently works as a freelance artist, working at Open Studio Elizagaray in Trinidad de Cuba since 2015. He has held several personal exhibitions from 2009 to the present among which are: My Candidates (Gallery of the provincial UNEAC, Sancti Spiritus 2019); Sigilos (Gallery Larios Camaguey 2015 ). He has participated in more than 20 group exhibitions in the United States, Germany and Cuba. His works are part of important private collections.
