about Rinat Izhak

Israel/Sevilla, 1971

Spanish creator, born in Israel. A self-taught artist with a degree in Architecture with honors from the UPC in Barcelona and the University of Budapest. Her training as an architect provides a key tool for her artistic projects, allowing her to create comprehensive visual and sensory experiences. Over nearly three decades, she has gained recognition from major cultural institutions and has received support and grants for the development of artistic projects focused on environmental and complex works, involving more than 3,000 participants and attracting over 50,000 visitors. For more than twenty years, she simultaneously developed personal series in her studio outside the public spotlight. Only recently, following a visit from a collector who acquired her works and encouraged her to present her series, has this body of work begun to come to light, revealing a painting practice that combines strength and delicacy.
