about Pilar Salvà

Palma de Mallorca, 1978

Pilar Salvá (Palma de Mallorca, 1978) is a visual artist who blends realism and surrealism to create works that invite viewers on an introspective and spiritual journey. Her artistic practice is an inner process that reflects the pursuit of elevating consciousness and igniting the divine spark that resides within every being. Through each piece, she explores the transformative potential of creativity as an expression of our supra-consciousness, aspiring to inspire others to connect with their deepest essence and contribute to positive and mindful change in their surroundings.

She began her artistic career in 2014 creating personalized commissioned portraits, which allowed her to develop a remarkable sensitivity for capturing the essence and personality of her subjects. Later, she focused mainly on portraying real women, becoming especially recognized for her ability to depict human anatomy and subtle expressions with great precision, conveying profound emotions.

Her most characteristic works are angelic faces rendered on paper, combining delicacy and strength in a unique balance. Although her main work centers on figurative portraiture, Pilar also explores other themes and ventures into abstract art, experimenting with new forms of visual expression.
