Candela Muniozguren

about Candela Muniozguren
Madrid, 1986
Degree in Fine Arts from the Complutense University of Madrid, her work reflects on the harmony between empty and occupied space, seeking a dynamic balance that goes beyond traditional geometric order.
Muniozguren’s sculptures are mainly made of steel, often stabilized with industrial anchors, and wood, and are characterized by tectonic, open forms that extend into surrounding space, integrating it through visual rhythms marked by planes of pure color.
She incorporates a playful, constructivist element reminiscent of Meccano-like assembly, expanding the formal language of geometry into more emotional and human territories.
